My name is Davis Gillenwater.
At the early age of 6 I began boating and growing up on the water with my family. They afforded me the opportunity to experience a life on the water that developed into a passion and life style. Many years in the building and construction business allowed me to move on to bigger water and with bigger water came bigger boats. That brought my passion and desire for boating to whole new level. I got involved in the boat and yacht brokerage business as an independent sales representative in the area where I boated on the TN River. After a few successful sales years I partnered with another independent representative within the company and together we purchased the business. The results have far exceeded expectations in sales and growth on a recurring annual basis. Our firm is the oldest and longest standing brokerage in our area. I am a licensed USCG Merchant Mariner 100 T Master with Towing Assist Endorsement. I provide backup Captain and piloting services for our local Boat US towing and recovery service. I have several years Captain service on 149 passenger commercial paddle wheeler that included dinner cruises, educational tours, entertainment and sightseeing tours. I have thousands of miles over the water delivery and ferrying a variety of vessels from 25’ to 100’. My passion for boating continues daily and the experience is second to none. I have a wonderful wife that shares with enthusiasm that passion and our life on the water.
My name is Rodney Lucas.
I joined the PYB team in August 2009. I have been in the Pickwick area since 1998 and have lived here full time since 2001. I owned my own business for 26 years and semi retired in 2000 before going back to work full time in 2002. Many of you may associate me with Grand Harbor where I was the Dockmaster from 2002 to 2005.
I am a life long boater myself having owned several boats from a wooden raft on a farm pond as a child to my largest boat a 55 Viking M/Y. I have traveled the waterways from the Great Lakes to Fort Lauderdale Fl. I not only have a working knowledge of boats but also know most of the marina operators between St. Louis and Mobile.
I have been married to my wife Jackie for 39 years and have 2 children and 6 grandchildren who also share my love of the water and related activities.
I look forward to the opportunity to serve you whether you are looking to buy a boat or move up or sell your current boat. Watch for me on the water on the “$cholar $hip”.
My name is James Weir.
My family has been enjoying the Pickwick area for over twenty years. After 33 years, I retired in 2007 from my position as Sr. V.P. Of Operations for a Memphis manufacturing company.
I also worked in the real estate business for many years along with my wife.
I have been married to my wife Elizabeth for 39 years and live at Pickwick full time . We are blessed that our son, daughter in law and two grandsons live 'just around the corner'.
My wife and I have always had a passion for boating and the water. We currently own a 40' Mainship located at Grand Harbor Marina.
We love this lake and the people in this community. I am currently on the Board of Directors for Friends of Pickwick State Park. As such, I am the membership chairman of this volunteer group that supports projects of the state park. We are proud of the many projects funded by our volunteers.
I welcome the opportunity to aggressively work toward achieving our client's needs.
Kind regards ,
My name is Chris Franklin.
My love for boating and the lake began as a child spending summers at my families’ lake home on Kentucky Lake. At the age of 12, I got my first boat. A Sears Styrofoam Sea Snark sailboat.. Which I converted into a fishing canoe with a 9.5 hp mercury outboard because sailing was just too slow. A couple years later, I took over my Fathers Glastron runabout... and my love for boating took off!! Several boats and various lengths later I am I currently own a 32’ Carver Aft Cabin.
My current dockage of 20+ years is at the beautiful Cypress Springs Resort on the Ky/Tn border just North of Paris Landing State Park. My home is on the water as well, on Blood River. Halfway between Paris Landing and Ken Lake marina. We are on a wonderful part of the lake. Wide open water, fantastic coves, and easy cruising.
I have grown up on the lake, worked at our marina on the lake, and spend about 10 months of the year on the lake. I study boats, boat designs, and have an eye for a diamond in the rough. I truly enjoy helping people find a boat that will suit their needs. Either as a starter boat or a retirement boat to travel. Being on the water has enriched my life and taught me values that have I have carried on throughout my career.
I welcome the opportunity to help you and your family in any way possible achieve your boating dreams. Please give me a call at 270-293-6666 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
My name is Mikal Trevathan, my love for the lake and boating began as a small child. While spending endless summer days and nights on Kentucky Lake enjoying camping, boating, fishing, and riding jet skis my heart grew even more fond for the lake!
Within the past 10 years my heart and soul has become so passionate about boating. From finding that diamond in the rough to studying styles, designs, layouts, and mechanically working on boats...it consumes me. Just ask my family and friends! I just can't get enough of boating.
With a background in business and being a business owner, I have learned to get to know my clients on a personal level. Listening to my client's needs is important to me so I can find the perfect boat to suit their lifestyle. Whether it be a starter boat, small cruiser to navigate the local waters, or a luxury yacht to sail The Great Loop, I find great gratification in finding the perfect boat for you and your family.
Boating has anchored my heart and soul and given me memories of a lifetime that could never be replaced. Let me earn the chance to re-create the amazing life boating has given me.

We are Eric and Phyllis Hamby
We are privileged to have recently joined PYB, one of the most prestigious and reputable yacht brokers in the country. I began boating in the 70's with my brother at Lake of the Ozarks when we had fishing boats and runabouts. Phyllis and I have been boating on Kentucky & Barkley lakes for the last 26 years and still enjoy the peace and serenity of being on the water.
I moved from the St. Louis area to Paducah, Ky, February 1988 and shortly thereafter I met my wife Phyllis. Phyllis was born in Mayfield, Ky, raised in Michigan and returned to Mayfield in 1979. After 40 years in the chemical business with Monsanto and Westlake Chemical I retired in 2015 and Phyllis who also worked at Westlake retired in 2009.
We have one son and two daughters along with 5 grandchildren who range in age from 11 to 18. We feel very blessed to have such a loving and wonderful family.
Phyllis and I enjoy meeting new people and are looking forward to serving in your boating needs. Whether it be selling your existing boat or assisting you in finding the boat of your dreams!
